What we collect for early access

LOCL is not generally available yet. This page describes the waitlist form on locl.space.

Information we collect

If you join the early-access list, we store:

• your email address (required)
• business type, city, and current website, if you choose to provide them
• the time you submitted the form
• optional campaign parameters from the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content)
• the referring site and the first page path you landed on, when the browser provides them
• a shortened browser user-agent string, to understand device mix

We also keep a short-lived record of the submitting IP address to limit automated abuse of the form. We do not ask for a password, payment details, or other account information on this page.

How the page is measured

locl.space records a small set of first-party events so we can see whether the page is useful: page views, waitlist-button clicks, and whether a waitlist submission succeeded or failed. These events do not include your email address, website URL, or other form text. A random session identifier is kept in the browser’s session storage for that visit only. We also load Google Tag Manager (GTM-MFGBRLP6). Tags configured there may set cookies and send usage data to Google or other destinations you configure in that container.

How it is used

We use waitlist information to contact you about LOCL early access and to understand which kinds of local businesses are interested. Event and attribution data help us see which channels and page actions lead to signups. We do not sell this data.

Where it is stored

Submissions and page events are stored on the same server that hosts locl.space. The forms and events are processed by our own endpoints on this site. We do not send waitlist signups to a third-party marketing platform.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist records until early access is offered or you ask us to remove your email, whichever comes first. Abuse-prevention IP logs are not kept as a lasting profile.
